Verger de Pommes

On a sunny Saturday afternoon in early March, we took a walk along the fields to the apple orchards in Troinex.

We took the number 41 bus to the stop ‘Chemin des Bois’ and walked up the road, past Landi and took the first left, following the yellow walking signs towards Troinex. We walked on small roads and paths along the edge of fields until we reached the apple orchard. The views were lovely and the surroundings were very peaceful.

It was a beautiful day, so we had a picnic while overlooking the Saleve. I breastfed Jack here as well.

Unfortuantely the apple orchard was not open and selling apples because it was the wrong season, but I have been before in the Autumn and you can buy apples and jams from them:

After our picnic, we walked into the centre of Troinex village and enjoyed stopping in the bakery: Au délice de la grand cour, which was very baby friendly. There was a changing area and highchairs were available. The service was great too!
