Lockdown. What a strange time. But, what an amazing time to spend time with your family and enjoy your daily walk in your local area. We are lucky to have so many beautiful woods to explore by our home.
Bois Marquet

After a pitstop at Zio’s bakery in Vessy for some snacks, we walked along the fields to Bois Marquet. A small area of woodland, where you can see the Saleve rising in the background. There are many small paths to wander around, and plenty of interesting sounds, textures and sights for a baby to experience!

Le Bois de Veyrier

This larger woodland area sits between Veyrier and Vessy and provides many different footpaths to explore. We used our ergobaby, but a sturdy pushchair would also be fine. Our son loved hearing the noises of the different birds, the leaves crunching beneath our feet and the trees moving in the breeze. It was a very sunny day, but luckily walking in the woods provides a good amount of shade for you and your little one.
